SS12 TREND REPORT

This season fashion is about archetypal spring/summer themes, so cast off your cold weather colours and stripped back staples.

Here's what you need:-

. Forget the reputation of skipping dessert, this season designers indulge in collective sweet tooth with candy colours, including lemon sorbet, peppermint green and sugary sweet pink.

. Not only pastels took over the catwalks, fresh fluorescents,scorching oranges and bright yellow will be adding sunshine to your wardrobe's this summer.

. Another big trend for SS12 are twenties, evening dresses embellished with swooshing tassels,opulent beading and plumes of feathers. Also on the agenda for evening wear are lace numbers and shimmering shining fabrics.

. Sports wear Luxe has hit it stride for SS12, I blame it on the Olympics, keep an eye out for leather running shorts, slouchy sweatshirts and wedge trainers.

Finally SS12 would not be the same without prints. There are diverse range of prints including paisley,motifs, Aztec,animal and African prints. Autumn/winter snake print is still going strong but wear with a splash of neon for this season......
