OTD- Friends birthday.

Yesterday was my friends birthday and we just decided to go to the movies. We watch Batman, great movie, if you haven't watched it yet, hurry......
It was quite a lovely day, so i decided to wear my sheer burgundy shirt over what looks like a dress but it is actually a maxi skirt that i thought i would change up.
Its \ always important that you add your own to an outfit, change it up to suit you......

Heirloom Jewels

I totally believe that accessories complete an outfit, so nothing beats find the right jewellery to enhance your look. At the moment, I'm really liking heirloom jewellery and I've got some for myself.

Below are my favourites:-

1. In Bloom-clash this ring with contrasting floral prints

Mango £22.99

2.Peachy bracelet-it's t-bar clasp makes it easy to fasten.

Freedom Premium at Topshop, £35

3. This necklace is my personal favourite as i have the exact same thing in yellow. Its a great vintage style necklace and it's purse friendly too.....

Primark, £6

4.Cuff bracelet-great colour for the summer.

Banana Republic £45

5.An updo hairstyle is perfect for these earrings, they are way to pretty to hide....

Asos,£15

6. Elegant and Timeless.

I LOVE THESE!!!

7. This cocktail ring is a MUST BUY....

Orelia.co.uk £18

When wearing heirloom jewellery, don't just stick to on statement jewel, stick, layer and pile them to create  new combinations. Your jewellery will look better for long if you avoid spraying perfume directly on them!!!

Alexander McQueen Resort 2013 Collection

The '70s style of David Bowie and the paintings of Gustav Klimt inspired the form-fitting, metallic-patterned Alexander McQueen Resort 2013 collection

I'm loving the exaggerated shoulders!!!

This colour is stunning....

MY STYLE ICON-SOLANGE

For the past year, it has become apparent that Solange is definitely the style icon of the year….
She is no more seen as Beyonce little sister but has been able to establish herself and is now showcasing herself as Solange Knowles, I believe that she has found herself. I love Beyonce to bits but to be honest I prefer Solange; her eclectic and afro centric style. She actually encouraged me to have my natural hair out from the beginning of the year. Her versatile and relaxed style is just stunning. I adore the way she is able to literally team anything together and it works. She has grown from someone who was a shadow to their sister to someone who sets trend and has a unique style. I can put my hands up and say, she is definitely MY STYLE ICON!!!!
Below are my favourite style pics of her:-

Prints- OOTD on Sunday

I love this top that i got made when i went to Ghana last year. I bought two different print of fabrics and put them together. This top is dipped hem and i decided to wear it with a pencil skirt. I pulled in the waist with a good belt.
